Qualcomm Introduce Newest Snapdragon Quad-Core Processor

Both are the line of processors Snapdragon S4 Play, which are optimized specifically for the user who wants his smartphone capable of running applications faster and better user experience.
Snapdragon S4 Play Processors offers its manufacturer or Original Equipment Manufacturer partner (OEM) with CPU performance dual-core and quad-core processor for entry-level smartphones. This new processor will support higher bandwidth, greater screen resolution and HD video better.
Both processors will be ready for testing at the end of 2012 and start shipping in the first quarter of 2013. Series MSM8225Q and MSM8625Q using quad-core CPU. Quad-core models will support LPDDR2 memory and increase bandwidth, so users can enjoy better features, such as video encode and decode 720p.
Qualcomm also unveiled Qualcomm Reference Design (QRD) for this new processor. QRD program includes a comprehensive handset development platform. QRD ecosystem is also a program which provides access to a third party, as a provider of hardware components and software.
With the ability to dual-core processors from Qualcomm (8x25 series), it will produce 20% battery consumption better. In addition, the performance of the system and run applications 1.8 times faster.
While 8x25Q series that have quad-core. There will be increasing as the new memory, supports LPDDR2 controller, CPU performance have doubles performance than 8x25 dual core series.
